Welcome to Tone Musicals ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website, creating an account, or using our instrument rental and booking services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Use of the platform
- You must provide accurate information when registering, booking, or listing equipment.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or harms other users or the platform.
Services
Tone Musicals facilitates rentals of musical instruments and connections between customers and musicians or providers. Specific fees, dates, and equipment condition are governed by your rental order, booking confirmation, and the policies below.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tone Musicals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the fees you paid to us for the transaction in question, except where prohibited by law.
Privacy Policy
We collect information you provide (such as name, email, phone, delivery address, and payment-related details necessary to process orders) and usage data to operate and improve our services.
How we use information
- To process rentals, bookings, and customer support.

Rental policy — customers (renters)
This policy applies when you rent instruments listed on Tone Musicals as an end customer.
Orders & payment
- Rental rates are shown per day (or as stated at checkout). Taxes or delivery fees, if any, will be displayed before you confirm.
- By placing an order, you agree to the rental period, address, and total quoted for that order.
- Cancellations and refunds follow the rules communicated at checkout and any confirmation email we send.
Care & return
- You must use the equipment reasonably and only for its intended purpose.
- Return items on the agreed end date and in the condition received, ordinary wear excepted.
- You are liable for damage to rented instruments discovered on return beyond ordinary wear and tear, and you agree to pay the assessed cost of repair or replacement. Tone Musicals does not assume responsibility for those damage costs — they remain your obligation as the renter, subject to assessment with the listing provider where applicable.
- Loss, theft, or damage beyond normal use may result in repair or replacement charges as assessed by Tone Musicals or the provider.
Delivery & pickup
Where delivery or pickup is offered, windows and responsibilities will be confirmed with your order. Failed delivery attempts or late returns may incur additional fees as disclosed during booking.
Disputes
For issues with your rental, contact us promptly with your order reference. We will work with you and, where relevant, the listing provider to resolve the matter fairly.
Rental policy — providers (instrument listers)
This policy applies when you list your own instruments for rent through Tone Musicals as an instrument provider.
Listing & accuracy
- You must describe instruments truthfully, including condition, accessories, and any limitations.
- Photos and preview videos you submit must represent the actual item offered for rent.
- Listings are subject to admin review and approval before they may appear publicly.
Availability & fulfilment
- You are responsible for honouring confirmed rentals for dates you have made available.
- If you cannot fulfil an order, you must notify Tone Musicals and the customer as soon as possible so alternatives can be arranged.
- Repeated cancellations or misrepresentation may result in suspension of your listings.
Equipment & liability
- You warrant that you have the right to rent out the equipment and that it is safe to use when operated as intended.
- You remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws and for insurance you deem appropriate.
- Damage or loss during a rental may be resolved between you, the customer, and Tone Musicals according to the assessment process we communicate for provider listings.
Visibility & conduct
Tone Musicals may display or hide your listings on the public site (for example, for moderation or quality). You agree not to circumvent fees or safety rules, and not to use the platform for illegal or harmful activity.
Changes
We may update these policies from time to time. Continued use of provider features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
